Lauren is a Senior Content Designer working in Atlassian's Central AI team, focused on building AI-native tools for makers using Rovo Studio.
She will talk about the resurgence of conversation design.
Designing conversations has been identified as one of the next key skill sets for content professionals in the AI era. There are a growing number of language specialists contributing to experiences like LLM chatbots or voice interfaces via content strategy and prompt engineering.
Titled “AI conversation design 101”, Lauren will be lifting the hood on how to start and deliver AI conversation-based experiences – the theory and the process in practice.

Around 40 people meet every two months to talk content strategy in a fun and friendly environment.
Topics include strategic content management, content design, information architecture, content governance, accessibility, UX writing, content cleanup, archetypes, analytics, stakeholder management, measurement, large language models, artificial intelligence and more.

The meetup is held at Atlassian - either 341 or 363 George Street, Sydney. Check your ticket to make sure you have the right address on the night :)
The closest stations are Wynyard and Martin Place and there are plenty of cheap after-hours car parks around in case you’re working from home.
